Coated stainless drinkware is engraved by laser ablating the powder coating to expose the bare metal below.

More About the Process

Engraving is done with the help of a rotary roller. After engraving, the item is cleaned to removed soot and the powder coat debris.

If the bases have not already been branded, that happens at this time. A marking medium can be brushed, sprayed, or applied as a tape. Once lasered, the marking medium is rinsed off to reveal a dark and durable mark.
