Black Marking

Using the fiber laser, stainless can be with an indelible black mark.  The mark is made by defocusing the laser and running with low power and speed.  The surface chemistry of the material is annealed to reveal a black mark that will not rub off. The mark does not change the surface texture enough to easily feel with your finger.

Our lasers are not designed for cutting metals, however thinner metals can be cut in some scenarios.
