Corrugated Paper
Cutting
Corrugated is quickly and easily cut into complex shapes. There will be light charring on the edges that may rub off. This is potentially minimized with proper power and assist air.
Engraving
Corrugated can be difficult to engrave, because the exterior layers of are so thin. Regulating the focus, power, and speed is critical to avoid burning through the top layer and into those below. As in many cases, experimentation on a scrap section of material is often necessary.
Scoring
Scoring and vector engraving corrugated is possible, though it's likely to penetrate the first layer entirely. It's useful if the corrugated is intended to be folded at straight lines where vector engraved/scored. In that case, it's helpful to penetrate the top layer and some of the flute below. Care should be taken to avoid cutting all the way through. This means dropping the power at corners where the laser head slows before the corner and accelerates after the corner. Experimentation on a scrap section of material is almost always necessary.
